About Radish genome

Radish (Raphanus sativus L.) is a diploid (2n = 2x = 18) dicot and an economically important root crop cultivated in worldwide. Raphanus belongs to the family Brassicaceae and tribe Brassiceae, which includes economically important crops such as Brassica; radish is closely related to Brassica crops. Here, we release the improved genome sequence of Japanese radish strain (Aokubi Soubutori Daikon DH line, Sakata Seed) assembled from 122-fold next-generation sequencing (NGS) data.
